The Berry House/Cabin

Abraham Lincoln, after arriving in New Salem, IL, became friends with a local man, William Berry, soldiered with him, and owned two stores at New Salem with him. ¬†Lincoln spent much time at the Rock Creek house where Berry was raised, studying the Bible and Whigism with John Berry, pastor of Rock Creek Presbyterian Church.  Lincoln later clerked an official Sangamon County election in the Berry house.

Truly limited-quantity collectibles made from the wood framing members of the 1825 historical home are now available.
